The Leopard Cactus Pleco (L114, Pseudacanthicus cf. leopardus) from a Brazilian Rio Negro tributary displays distinctive black leopard-like spots on an orangish-brown body and grows to about 10 inches. Relatively peaceful but potentially territorial with similar species, it needs a mainly carnivorous diet, ample cover, softer blackwater-like conditions, and a large tank (90 gallons recommended).
