Labout's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus laboutei) is famous for its brilliant gradient coloration transitioning from deep blue and purple tones to bright orange and yellow; native to Indo-Pacific coral reef slopes and lagoons where it gracefully swims in the water column. It is peaceful and highly active, an excellent centerpiece fish; keep at least a 150L+ tank with a secure lid as it is an excellent jumper, open swimming space with live rock, and best in peaceful stable reef systems; it is fully reef safe; feed zooplankton, mysis and brine shrimp, frozen marine foods, and high-quality pellets in frequent small feedings multiple times daily; it can be kept in harems of one male plus females in larger aquariums.
