The Ignitus Anthias from the Maldives, also called the Flame Anthias, has gorgeous gradations of fiery reds, bold oranges, and vibrant yellows; when courting, the male's coloration intensifies greatly and the bright red dorsal fin is held upright. It thrives best in a 125 gallon aquarium with one male and up to ten females, or a 70 gallon tank when housed singly; feed frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and flake foods in small quantities throughout the day.
