The Huchtii Anthias, also known as the Redcheek or Green Anthias, originates in the reefs of Cebu and the Solomon Islands; males are yellowish green with an orange stripe just behind the eye and electric blue-outlined fins, while females share the stripe but are less brightly colored. It is an active species that helps draw out shier fish; keep in groups in at least a 125 gallon aquarium with several hiding places in the middle of the tank; feed frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and flake foods in small quantities throughout the day.
