The Flashing Tilefish (Hoplolatilus chlupatyi) shimmers with brilliant iridescent shades of blue, violet, pink, yellow, and gold that intensify during its natural "flashing" display behavior. It inhabits sandy slopes where it constructs a burrow, needs a minimum 265-liter tank with fine sandy substrate, moderate care, a carnivorous zooplankton diet, and a completely escape-proof lid since it is an exceptional jumper.
