The Evansi Anthias, also known as the Yellowtail Goldie or Evan's Anthias, is a bright and colorful marine fish, predominantly violet with yellow dots sprinkled on the flanks and an orange line running laterally from nose to pectoral fin. Peaceful with other non-aggressive fish; if keeping more than one, have one male with several females in a 125 gallon tank, or a 75 gallon tank if kept alone; it can be difficult to maintain and is not appropriate for the inexperienced aquarist; feed frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and flake foods in small quantities throughout the day.
