The Ember Blenny, also known as the Red-streaked or Scarlet-spotted Blenny, has males generally larger than females that change color when breeding. It needs a well-established minimum 208-liter tank with scattered rocks for perching and hiding plus live rock with microalgae, and unlike most blennies requires a meaty diet of chopped crustaceans, mysis, and enriched brine shrimp along with herbivore preparations and algae; acclimate multiples together to avoid aggression.
