The Copperband Butterflyfish (Chelmon rostratus), also called the Beaked Coralfish, is a peaceful butterflyfish with a white body, bold copper-orange bands, a long slender snout for extracting prey from crevices, and a black eyespot on the dorsal fin. It needs a minimum 475-liter mature tank with abundant live rock, advanced care, and patient varied feedings, and is reef-compatible only with caution since it may nip at invertebrates and coral polyps.
