The Tomini Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus tominiensis), also called the Tomini Surgeonfish, is one of the smallest and easiest tangs to keep. Juveniles are light brown with yellow, blue, and white highlights, while adults develop a blue tail, golden fin margins, and golden spots above the eyes. It uses bristle-like teeth to scrape algae and biofilm, needing a minimum 265-liter tank with plenty of live rock, moderate care, and an herbivorous diet.
