The Blue Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus), also called the Palette Surgeonfish or Regal Tang, is one of the world's most recognizable marine fish with an electric-blue body, bold black palette-shaped marking, and bright yellow tail. It is peaceful to semi-aggressive, needs a minimum 680-liter tank with extensive open swimming space, moderate care, and a varied algae-rich diet; it is notably susceptible to marine ich and HLLE.
