The Black Combtooth Blenny, also known as Namive's or Tribal Blenny, has a primarily blackish-purple body graduating to an electric indigo and yellow-white tail. It is a reef-safe herbivore that controls microalgae by scraping algae off rocks and aquarium glass with its distinctive fine comb-like teeth embedded in its lips; keep in a minimum 115-liter tank with plenty of scattered live rock, and feed vegetable matter with marine and blue-green algae.
