The Bimaculatus Anthias, also known as the Twospot or Twinspot Anthias, is one of the most gorgeous of all Anthias; males have one or two spots on the dorsal fin with a pink head fading to vibrant red extending to the tail and irregular pink bars running horizontally along the body, while females are pink with a yellow dorsal, anal, and caudal fin. It does best with its own species in at least a 125 gallon tank, dwelling in the middle of the tank with several hiding places; feed frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and flake foods in small quantities throughout the day.
